Bespoke IT systems
Mercury has developed a bespoke IT system, which receives our customers’ production schedules by day and machine type and analyses them to produce schedules showing wheel and tyre requirements from suppliers.
Wheel and tyre requirements are notified to our customers’ nominated suppliers and deliveries scheduled accordingly.
The systems also provide Mercury’s daily fitting and delivery schedules. Inevitably, our customers’ requirements frequently change at short notice and our systems are designed to cope with regular updates.
By giving Mercury the responsibility for material scheduling it gives us greater control to deliver the level of service our customers need to meet their production demands.
